Boeing 737 is a family of narrow-body short- and medium-range passenger and transport aircraft. The aircraft has been produced by Boeing since 1967.

The Boeing 737 has become the most mass-produced passenger aircraft in the history of passenger aircraft manufacturing, with the 10,000th aircraft delivered on March 13, 2018, and over 4,500 orders still awaiting fulfillment. The Boeing 737 is used so widely that at any given time there are an average of 1,200 aircraft in the air, and every 5 seconds, one 737 takes off and lands in the world.

The Boeing 737 is a twin-engine, low-wing monoplane with a low sweep angle and a single tail, with turbofan engines mounted under the wing. When fully loaded, the engines are 46 cm above the runway surface
